"Making authentic costumes for the needs of Children's dance group" Yana "and" Yana "folk dance club at" Prosveta - 1929 "National Community Center - Boshulya village"

The current project proposal is aimed at preserving, developing and enhancing local cultural heritage and traditions. The target groups are two - Jana children's dance group and Yana folk tale club, thirty-two amateurs of which sixteen are students from the first to the seventh grade included in one group, and in the second group are also sixteen at the age of eighteen up to forty years. Fifty percent of the amateurs are from ethnic minorities. The dance groups that exist at the Chitalishte preserve and recreate the invaluable traditions and customs of the region. The costumes with which the groups participate in the performances are borrowed from the neighboring chitalishte because they do not have their own. It is absolutely necessary to produce authentic costumes for both groups. Bears are of interest to jury judges at group appearances. Authentic costumes will be shown and promoted. The groups are leading in the implementation of Chitalishte activities. They are, by their nature, representative groups that take part in appearances from the local, regional, national and international level. Since their last participation the groups have won a bronze medal from the European Folkloric Championship "Living Water" in Hisarya. The production of authentic costumes makes it possible to better evaluate the two groups and to have much more participation in festivals and competitions. The implementation of the project is directly related to the main activity of the applicant, because the priority of the Chitalishte is preservation and recreation of the cultural heritage of the settlement on whose territory it operates.
