On the roads of the ancient civilizations in Belovo, Septemvri and Velingrad

This project proposal is in pursuance of Objective 3 of EU Regulation 1305/2013 - Achieving balanced territorial development of economies and communities in rural areas and fully in line with the municipal development plans of Belovo, Septemvri and Velingrad for the period 2014 - In the three municipalities there are many legendary, antique and medieval roads and roadside sites that are poorly researched, uncharted and unknown to the community. Using the natural resources of the Thracian Lowland and the Western Rhodopes, our ancestors have built and used weather-resistant and popular roads all over Europe and Asia. The purpose of the project proposal is to promote and valorise the local cultural and natural heritage by exploring the ancient roads and roadside sites on the territory of the LLG, writing a book with the working title "PREANTIGATION, ANTIQUE AND MIDDLE ROADS AND STREAM OBJECTS FACILITIES, ROADS, ROAD STATIONS, BECLOMETS, etc.) FROM THE REGION OF THE MUNICIPALITIES OF BELOVO, SEPTEMBER AND VELINGRAD - IV century BC. - XIX Century ". The project will end with the official handover of copies of the published book to the three municipalities, museums, community centers, schools from the territory of the LAG and the contribution of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development to the preservation, development and valorisation of the local natural, cultural heritage and traditions.
