At the current moment the facilities in kindergarten “Pchelitsa”, kindergarten “Radost” and kindergarten “Slaveytche”- Lyaskovets are old, metal, with sharp edges and broken parts, missing or inadequate in height railings and barriers. The sandboxes don’t meet the safety requirements. The pavement under the facilities doesn’t meet the safety requirements by type and size for falling over 1 m. There is no accessible area for children with disabilities. The main priority of Municipality of Lyaskovets is the improvement of the outdoor playgrounds in the territory of Lyaskovets Municipality by their renovation according to the regulations. This project proposal includes renovation and rehabilitation of outdoor playgrounds in kindergarten “Slaveytche”, kindergarten “Pchelitsa” and kindergarten “Radost” in the town of Lyaskovets, disassembly of unsuitable playing facilities and their replacement with facilities, covering the requirements of Ordinance Nr 1 from 12.01.2009 year for the conditions and order for structure and safety of the playgrounds, the pavements, creating areas for outdoor activities. The implementation of the project aims to provide appropriate conditions for activities and safe play of children from 3 to 7 years of age, visual supervision and control of their movement, as well as easy access of children with limited mobility and special needs.
