NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR TRAINING PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

The present project proposal will create the necessary conditions for carrying out a modern educational process in the exported classes for training of children and young people with special educational needs, which takes place in the day center for children and young people with disabilities, Gorski Senovets village , Strazhitsa Municipality. It is visited by users of this social service, who are of different degrees of intellectual deficit and are trained in different grades from the 1st to the 11th grade of Sofia University "Kliment Ohridski", Kamen village. The applicant organization, Friends of Forest Sennock, has been supporting children and young people with disabilities since 2002 as well as their overall personal development as well as the rehabilitation and compensation of their deficits. The non-governmental organization strives to organize and conduct activities to develop their skills, competences, competences and expertise in the fields of science, technology, arts and sports, global, civic and health education, and to acquire leadership skills. With the implementation of the project proposal, we will be able to equip a day-center hall for children and young people with disabilities in the village of Gorski Senovets with an interactive display equipped with an electric mobile stand that will allow this display to be used as an interactive table, projector and software with appropriate learning content. Innovative educational equipment will create a workspace where children and young people will have the opportunity to learn in a new way, which is a prerequisite for greater success in the learning of the learning material. Interactive furniture is a new tool for developing teamwork among children.
