"TRADITIONS AND FUTURE FOR OUR CHILDREN"

The project aims to improve the quality of life of the population by strengthening the cultural traditions of the local community.The project will help preserve local identity and promote cultural heritage.The proposed activities will encourage the local population to be involved in joint initiatives for the study and preservation of cultural heritage and the development of children and young people in the arts.The project will be carried out for a period of 13 months by NS "Prosveta-1870" with the support of the "Development-1928" Chitalishte - Siva Reka, Otets Paisiy-1929 Chitalishte - Momkovo, St. Cyril and Metodiy-1928 "-Studena," Father Paisii-1925 "Chitalishte," Izgrev-1921 "Chitalishte - Mezek, Children's Music School,DCTC "Nadezhda"-Svilengrad.The target group is 16 children and young people from the Svilengrad municipality aged between 7and15 years of which 6 children have special educational needs. Local children's games,customs,songs,dances and crafts will be searched, preserved and studied.A group of craftsmanship and pottery crafts will be created.A group will be createdrecreating old children's games and customs and creating a group of musical therapies that will include children from the Chitalishte and children from DCTC "Nadezhda".The old children's games,customs,songs and dances will be described in a brochure filmed on DVD, will be studied by the children and presented at a one-day celebration of the traditions in Svilengrad,which will also include village chitalishte.A crafts holiday will be held in Svilengrad,where old crafts will be displayed.During the feast, a workshop will be held,through which the inhabitants and guests of the city will also gain knowledge and skills for crafts.Through the established craft group and the group recreating old children's games,customs,songs and dances and through the group music therapy will improve the quality of life of teenagers,use their free time and stimulate their intellectual and creative development.
