Renovation of areas for public use on the territory of Svilengrad Municipality - Svilengrad, Mezek village and Pastrogor village

The project proposal provides activities related to the improvement of the living environment in the suburban territory through the development of public areas. Measures related to the needs of the sites and the population will be used. The objects included in the project proposal are three: 1. "Rehabilitation of a green area, located in UPV IV, quarter 159 according to the plan of the town of Svilengrad"- includes activities for construction of a children's playground, including installation of children's facilities, benches, gazebo, bins and an information sign. The site will be adapted for children in disadvantaged position. Measures related to the cleaning of the park and landscaping will be implemented. A irrigation system will be built to maintain the vegetation. Existing alleys will be restored and will be provided a park lighting. 2. "Rehabilitation of a green area, located in the village of Pastrogor, Svilengrad municipality"- the main activities are: cleaning of the area of unfit facilities and equipment; construction of a children's playground, including fitting of children's facilities, benches, bins and information sign; demolition of a supporting wall of stone masonry and execution of a new wall with a fence above it. The existing gazebo is planned to be repaired. Grassing activities are also included. 3. "Rehabilitation of a public area located in the village of Mezek, Svilengrad municipality" - cleaning the object from old electric posts, metal constructions and others. New park equipment (bins and benches) will be installed. The existing vegetation will be cleaned, shaped and pruned. Included are repairing works on existing retaining walls of stone masonry (demolition, construction, filling of cracks), partial and complete restoration of steps and construction of new park lighting.
