The purpose of socio-cultural activity on the territory of Samokov municipality is to preserve and develop traditional cultural values ​​and their conception and perception by the next generations. Governance in the cultural sector aims at realizing a modern development model that leads to the involvement of all municipal institutions, business circles, media, civic organizations and others in the process of continuous enrichment of cultural life in Samokov and villages. The actions of the Municipality in the Culture sector are aimed at:Improving the quality of the cultural environment; Active marketing of the cultural product through the development and proper management of available resources; Preservation of the living, intangible cultural heritage and work to promote knowledge of it, by ensuring its transmission to future generations. The project presented is a major overhaul of part of an existing administrative building that houses a town hall and a community center. The building is two-storey, with a built-up area of ​​430,00 sq.m. / 350,00 sq.m. built-up area of ​​the building and 80,00 sq.m. Ground terrace / and total built-up area of ​​780,00 sq.m. / including the terrace /. It was built in 1967. The construction is massive, preserved and uncompromised. The building will be heated with air conditioning, ventilation is natural. The major renovation and renovation of part of the administrative building is aimed at returning to full operation for multifunctional activities.
