„Improving the activity of the dairy farm of IZP Ivanova Ivanova“

This project is aimed at achieving a higher competitiveness and efficiency of the milk production of the IPPP Ivona Bojkova Ivanova, registered at the Regional Directorate "Agriculture", Montana. The main activity of the IBP is implemented entirely in the Livestock sector through the development and maintenance of a livestock farm on the territory of the town of Lom, the Sadovete area, where sheep and goats are bred, dairy cows, heifers and calves. The holding complies with all the criteria and requirements for the production of raw cow's milk. Currently, 57 dairy cows, 6 heifers and 7 calves are grown on the farm. According to the survey data of the farmer for 2018-2019. on the farm are cultivated 1 228,778 decares. All production is used to feed livestock in order to improve efficiency and achieve higher quality cow's milk and veal. ZP Ivona Ivanova has scarce own equipment, which is extremely insufficient for the processing of the described lands to feed the holding. To date, the necessary additional equipment is hired through external services or certain land-processing operations are performed by manual labor. The investment of this project is aimed at purchasing the following assets: * Tractor Kubota M5091 - 1; * Sprayer PARLAYAN BIG STAR 3000 - 1; With the implementation of the project, the efficiency of the farm will increase significantly, leading to better financial performance and long - term competitiveness improvement at the local level. The planned duration of the project activities is 24 months. The value of the assets provided for purchase is BGN 100,000, excluding VAT. With this project, IA Ivanova is applying for a grant of 60 000,00 BGN (60% of the total eligible costs of the project).
