Innovative Together for Sustainable Rural Tourism

The territory of the LAG Balchik - General Toshevo is not sufficiently able to use its endogenous resources for its socio-economic development. Moreover, the target territory is not sufficiently able to take advantage of its favorable geographic location to the large urbanized districts - proximity to the Dobrich and Varna district towns and the resorts on the Black Sea coast. The aim of the future project for transnational cooperation is: Development of integrated rural tourism on the territory of LAG Balchik - General Toshevo. Project activities include: 1. Starting the project; 2. Information and publicity about the start of the project; 3. Preparation and development of a transnational cooperation project; 4. Holding meetings - visiting the potential partners; 5. Publicity and awareness-raising activities on the interim results of the project; 6. Conducting a work / information meeting with on-line involvement of the project partners; 7. Publicity and awareness-raising activities in connection with the completion of the project; 8. Official closing of the project; 9. Coordination of the implementation of preparatory actions. The expected results of this preparatory action are as follows: 1. Signed Partnership Agreement; 2. Developed transnational cooperation project. The future cooperation project will lead to the following results: 1. Development of a marketing mix for an integrated tourist product for the territory of the LAG; 2. Developing joint marketing with the project partners. The activities of the future transnational cooperation project will be specified with the project partners, possibly including all eligible actions under the selection procedure for project proposals for intra-territorial and transnational cooperation under sub-measure 19.3. The total budget of the project is: 48813,20 BGN.
