"Establishment of a retail shop with processing of own goat milk according to the requirements of MoAF Regulation 26/2010"

With the present project, KARAYA aims at realizing its investment intention for "Establishing a retail shop with processing of own goat milk according to the requirements of Ordinance 26/2010 of MoAF" by investing in repair works of an existing business building for differentiation of separate premises for the processing of own goat's milk and the purchase of necessary new and modern equipment. The investment will add value to the currently produced raw material - raw goat milk, offering end products - cheese, milks and yoghurts to end-users, following the concept of short supply chains and making the cooperative economically profitable and competitive in the sector. The aim is to increase efficiency by increasing the value of the raw material and offering local products to end-users, including adding socio-economic value to the development of the territory by developing an innovative product (kochota cheese and secondary whey product - milky with waste-free and environmentally responsible technology) and services - tastings and opportunities for on-site visits to the farm to buy the products, thereby increasing the profit and hence economics profitability indicators. Following the implementation of the project, the chairperson of the IC intends to appoint one person to a joint worker to assist in carrying out the activity. The main objective of the project proposal is also related to the purpose of procedure BG06RDNP001-19.086 - "MIG - Berkovitsa and Godech" - measure 19.2-4.2 "Investment in processing / marketing of agricultural products", namely: Creation of added value for local agricultural products supporting the development of enterprises processing agricultural produce from the LAG's territory; Bringing food processing plants into line with Community standards; Protection of the environment.
