Rehabilitation of a street network on the territory of the town of Straldja, Municipality of Straldzha

The project proposal concerns the rehabilitation of streets in the municipal center - Straldzha. The investment includes interventions eligible for support under Measure 7.2 of the SCIOM of the NGO "LAG - Straldzha 2016 " Activity 1. "Construction, reconstruction and / or rehabilitation of new and existing municipal roads, streets, sidewalks, and facilities and accessories thereto". Object of the investment proposal are the following streets in the town of Straldzha: - Al. Stamboliyski " 168 to 218 + 60m - Tsar Kaloyan Str. 308 to 361 - Shipka Str. 22 to 54 - "Hristo Botev" Str. 125 + 20m up to 124 + 25m - "Moskva" St. 309 to oth. 355 - "Georgi Stanchev" Str. 480 to oth. 321; and from p.279 to p.282 The streets are characterized by very low traffic intensity and very good visibility. The condition of the asphalt concrete pavement is completely compromised, decapitated, with numerous holes and cracks. The main reason for this state of the streets is drainage due to poor leveling, very small longitudinal and transverse slopes. The design solution envisages the rehabilitation of the pavement, which includes leveling and laying of a dense layer, and for Stamboliyski Street and an asphalt concrete layer with an average thickness of 6 cm. In the more compromised sections, the existing asphalt pavement and profiling are planned to be demolished and removed. Existing curbs are retained, decreasing at crossroads to provide an accessible environment for disadvantaged people. In streets where they are missing, curb fitting is planned. The design solution is in line with the current street regulation, state road conditions and regulatory requirements. It is anticipated that the drainage will be superficial, relying mainly on vertical planning.
