Investments in the improvement ff small-scale infrastructure in the villages of Stefanovo, Odurtsi and Plachis Dol, Municipality of Dobrichka

Sustainable socio-economic development of the region is linked to the existing infrastructure and the quality of services provided . The lack of renovation investments in the existing infrastructure and the inadequate quality of the services provided (compared to the city of Dobrich) are the main reasons for expanding the development boundaries between the rural area and the city. The opportunities for socio-economic development are not equal. These leads to a worse quality of life in settlements in the rural area of Dobrichka and endanger their ability to hold the satisfaction of the population and to attract investment. The project proposal contains a complex of activities for rehabilitation of a part of "Dvanadetsata" Street in the village of Stefanovo - from km 0 + 000 to km 0 + 340 - 340 m .; part of "Treta" street in the village of Odyrtsi - from km 0 + 000 to km 0 + 540- 540 m. Under construction- and author supervision a major overhaul of the roadway will be executed, including land, asphalt and road works. For improving the energy efficiency the project includes investment and delivery of a thermodynamic boiler in the Kindergarten "Dyga"and the Community Center in the village of Stefanovo. In the village of Plachidol an outdoor playground for children from 3 to 12 years will be constructed where children facilities will be installed. The project contributes to achieving the procedure objectives, implements activities to promote social inclusion, leads to reducing the risk of poverty, makes access to social and educational services better, improves the attractiveness of the living environment by protecting the environment not only in the villages covered by the project proposal but also of the munucipality as a whole.
