Major overhaul of the building National chitalishte "Serafim Yanakiev Chervenko 1933"

This project proposal provides for investments for the major repairs and equipment of the building of the House of Cultural "Serafim Yanakiev Chervenko 1933" in Simeonovets. The main reason for this is that for nearly 10 years, the main hall of the building is unusable and sealed by local and state authorities. Access to it is forbidden, as the construction of the roof is completely compromised by a large hole that has been rain and snow for several years. The equipment in the salon is old (before 1980) and has already deflated. Only one room on the first floor that is used during elections and the library that has no heating in a very poor general condition functions in the restricted building. Around the building is already dangerous because there is a risk of falling roof tiles, plaster or some roof structures. That is why the implementation of this project envisages construction and assembly activities, equipment delivery and promotion of project results. During the construction works the preservation of the unique architectural style is envisaged, in which the chitalishte building was built in 1958 by the voluntary work of the population. In this way it becomes part of the village's identity. The delivery of the equipment and the construction and assembly activities will be fully executed in accordance with the approved "Technical Design and Construction Permit", which are planning to carry out a major renovation of the building and vertical planning, including the construction of a ramp for access of disabled people. For the implementation of these activities an open tendering procedure under the PPL will be conducted to select a builder and equipment supplier. The successful implementation of this project will depend to a large extent on the financial and technical assistance of the Municipality of Septemvri. After the end of the project, a sign will be placed on the entrance of the Chitalishte describing the EU contribution.
