Diversification of the tourist infrastructure by creating a visitor center and tourist attractions related to the Danube River

The project envisages the construction / creation of a visitor center (a relocating site - a pavilion) for the presentation and exhibition of the local natural and cultural heritage and water-sport as a local tourist attraction. The pavilion will be located in the village of Ryahovo, Slivo Pole Municipality and equipped with modern equipment to expose its heritage and present the water sport as an interactive board. Tourist attraction related to the local natural, cultural and / or historical heritage, namely traditions in water sports and providing services for cognitive or educational purposes to children and adolescents by purchasing motor boats and their adjoining equipment. The main expected results of the project are: number of jobs created: by sex, age, vulnerable groups - 1 pc. and an annual number of tourists visiting tourist sites - 1000 people. In this way, the objectives of the project will be achieved: to improve the leisure and recreation services of the local population and to promote income growth and job creation on the territory by supporting the development of rural sports tourism; to diversify and improve the tourist infrastructure, attractions and facilities for visitors to the territory; to contribute to preservation and promotion of the natural and cultural heritage of the territory. The project will stimulate the development of tourism on the basis of the potential of the territory related to the favorable geographic location (the Danube river and its neighborhood with Romania), the rich natural diversity and the cultural and historical heritage and the traditions in the water sports.
