The project proposal of the Municipality of Balchik includes the restoration of the compromised sections of the bicycle alley, built more than 30 years ago in the easement of the municipal road DOB 1149 from the town of Balchik to the resort "Albena". The bicycle alley is outside the building borders of the town of Balchik and resort "Albena". The total length of the bicycle alley is 8.7 km and its width is 3 m. The repair works cover the recovery of 6 520 m2 of asphalt coating, which is completely destroyed in some places. The bicycle alley will be marked along the entire length, road signs will be installed, regulating the traffic on it. The main repairs are related to the clearing of the terrain (including the cutting of branches from bushes and trees that hang over the bicycle alley), milling of patches from existing asphalt pavements, laying of asphalt concrete in the areas prepared for asphalt. The disturbed sections will be restored to the "Izgrev" bus stop and to the "Ovcharovski plazh" bus stop. The bicycle alley will be marked with pearl paint according to BDS 11925-80. At the beginning of the bicycle alley at the bus stop Sborno myasto will be mounted an information signboard with the tourist sites of Balchik Municipality.
