Rehabilitation of a public green area for a garden in the village of Daskot, Pavlikeni Municipality

The current project proposal envisages rehabilitation of a public green area in Daskot village, Pavlikeni municipality, with the aim to improve the public infrastructure. It is planned to have construction works done for improvement and utilization of a public green area in the centre of the village.The site for rehabilitation is public municipal property, area of 1760 sq.m,all of which encompassed by the investment project. The worn out and impaired pavings will be restored. Appropriate space will be created for rest and cultural life events-folklore festivals, song contests, etc.For the users of the public green area, a green park space will be provided having new alleys and rest nooks. The activities from Architecture and Electricity part include: forming a central pedestrian area through a retaining concrete wall at 2 levels having elements for sitting, retaining wall with installed pillars and sloping alleys; forming green areas and decorative nursery garden with water effect; replacement of an existing decorative fountain with a new one and removal of the old fountain; replacement of the existing streetlight poles with contemporary ones; supply and fitting of new benches. In Park design part it is foreseen to increase the green areas, new alleys and rest nooks. The old groups of trees will be added with new ones – coniferous and deciduous trees and blossoming bushes. The total area for landscape gardening is 1288 sq.m. The necessity of the project is dictated by the fact that the public areas in the settlements in Pavlikeni municipality are in poor condition. The investments under Measure 7.2. “Investment in the creation, improvement or expansion of all types of small-scale infrastructure” in improvement of public infrastructure in the settlements will contribute to the development of the territory as a better place for living and they will provide opportunities for wholesome rationalization of the spare time of the population and the guests of the region.
