The project "Building a Visitor Center - Applied Training Center for Development and Preservation of Local Traditions, Customs and Crafts in General Inzovo Village, Tundzha Municipality" will be placed in a part of the building of the local school, which does not function due to its closure. The technical project for the construction of the Visitor Center includes the reconstruction of a part of the school building in UPI XIII, 36, General Inzovo, Tundzha Municipality, and the first floor with a built up area of 543 sq.m. The overall renovation of the building will be carried out in stages, with this project the municipality starts the implementation of Stage I, which includes the reconstruction of the three classrooms.The first room will become an Interactive Hall to present local traditions, customs, crafts. The second classroom will be Workshop 1 for application activities, including handmade woven articles, mummers, survaknitsi, martenitsi, fancyworks , etc. The third classroom will become the Workshop for Old Crafts. The room will be equipped with a loom, a clay oven, a clay plate roller, a sewing machine and a potter wheel for practicing with ancient techniques and tools based on the old Bulgarian customs typical for the Tundzha region. The visitor center will be able to present in an original and innovative way typical and specific for the settlements of Tundzha Municipality traditions, customs and crafts for children, students and tourists.The organization of the working process will be assigned to the team of Directorate "Culture and Humanitarian Activities" in the Tundzha Municipality. To ensure equal access to the building for all visitors, incl. people with disabilities will be built accessible architectural environment by placing a ramp. It is also planned to build a sanitary room-toilet. There will also be a repair of the roof of the school tract. Access to the second floor will be limited for all visitors and staff.
