Repair of a hall, make-up room and a stage in the building of the community center "Todor D. Pashkulov - 1928" in the village of Staro Jelezare.

The village of Staro Jelezare is one of the settlements in the area of LAG Hissarya. The community center "Todor D. Pashkulov - 1928" is the cultural center of the village, preserving folklore, traditions, customs and nationality, through it’s amateur activity. The roof and the façade of the building were renovated under a project with Contract No 16/322/00874/10.05.2013, but the cinema hall, the stage and the two dressing rooms were partially repaired, creating discomfort for the artists during the rehearsals and viewers of the events and holidays. The lighting of the listeted rooms is in poor condition - there are no lights, most bulbs are burned, the contacts are "squeezed" and are missing in places, making them dangerous to use. Due to a short circuit in the electrical installation, all wall lamps in the movie theater do not glow. The walls of the movie theater and the make-up rooms have not been painted for over 25 years, so they need partial plastering and painting. The stage and hall floor have been repaired more than 5 years ago, they are sturdy, but they need scrubbing and varnishing, and wooden seats need to be repaired and varnished. The floor of the two dressering rooms is rotten and it is dangerous and impossible to use the two units. Seats - 300 in number are in good condition but lack armrests and need cleaning and lacquering. Sound equipment is missing. The project envisages repairing the electrical installation of the rooms described, replacing the rotting floor in the two dressing rooms, repairing the seats in the cinema hall, scrubbing and varnishing the floor of the stage and the hall, and completely painting the walls of the rooms described. It is also envisaged the purchase of a sound installation, which will allow the extension of Community center amateur activity. The population of Staro Jelezare has learned to keep and protect public property. After the repair, funds will be provided for maintenance by the village mayoralty.
