Repair and rehabilitation of playgrounds in villages on the territory of Kardzhali Municipality”

The main objective of the project " Repair and rehabilitation of playgrounds in villages on the territory of Kardzhali Municipality is to increase the attractiveness of the living environment in 15 settlements on the territory of the Municipality of Kardzhali and to create conditions for promoting socio-economic development through improvement of the public infrastructure. The specific objectives of the project are: - To create an attractive, safe and accessible living environment in 15 settlements on the territory of the Municipality of Kardzhali through improvement, repair and rehabilitation of outdoor playgrounds; - To improve the tourist image of 14 settlements located near to cultural, historical and natural landmarks. The main activities of the project are related to repair and rehabilitation of playgrounds and enrichment of the area around them in 15 settlements/ villages, namely Chiflik, Dolna Krepost, Gorna Krepost, Jinzifovo, Kaloyantsi, Konevo, Most, Murgovo, Perperek, Sipei, Shiroko pole, Visoka polyana, Zvezdelina, Zviniza, Dolna krepost and Rani List. 7 674 inhabitants of Kardzhali municipality live in these villages, of which 4884 are 18 to 29 years old. As a result of the implementation of the project, attractive, accessible and safe public spaces for recreation and outdoor play for the youngest residents will be formed in these settlements. It will also improve the appearance of 14 of the settlements located near the Perperikon Archeological Complex, Monjak Fortress, Stone Wedding natural landmark and Studen Kladenets dam.
