Behind us is the memory of our ancestors, in front of us are the eyes of our children.

The applicant for this project is Lyceum “Dimitar Ivanov Polyanov-1870”, Garvan village. Almost 150 years the lyceum is the only cultural institution in the village. It organizes and conducts cultural, educational and other events in the village, recreates customs and preserves traditions and culture throughout the centuries. In order to invest in the development and enrichment of the cultural identity and traditions of the village of Garvan, and in order to improve the quality of life and spiritual development of the population, the lyceum plans to buy: authentic folklore costumes, and sound, multimedia and copying equipment. This investment will contribute to the preservation and development of rural cultural heritage and the strengthening of rural communities as a unique social and cultural asset in the populated areas of the MIG.
