Construction of an Information Center in the town of Kostinbrod

The achievement of a balanced and sustainable development of the Municipality of Kostinbrod is related both to the promotion of the economy and agriculture, as well as to the development of tourism and unique tourist resources through investments in tourist infrastructure, tourist services and attractions for visitors. In this regard, the current project proposal aims at building an information center in Kostinbrod, which will improve the appearance of the settlement and will provide a modern, sustainable and modern building, including safety and environmental protection, which is a prerequisite for encouraging the development of local tourism, attracting new tourists and improving the quality of life of the population. The achievement of the desired state will be possible through the implementation of the main activities of the construction of the information center, control over the construction process and project management. The activities envisaged correspond to the objectives set out in the BG06RDNP001-19.236 procedure, the Strategy Paper on the Kostinbrod - Svoge LAG and the RDP 2014-2020, and hence the strategic objectives of the EU. The main result of the project will be an information center with two main functions: 1) Information: providing general information about the tourist destination; creation and maintenance of a database on the overall tourism supply; providing information (on-site and online); 2) Development of tourist products: creation and updating of a database of tourist attractions on the territory of the Municipality of Kostinbrod, natural and anthropogenic tourism resources, accommodation, restaurants and entertainment, transport, calendar of events; needs study, etc. The project will be completed within 18 months. The implementation of the project activities, including the project management, will be outsourced, selected by the order of the Public Procurement Act (PPL).
