Reconstruction of the Ecopath and the adjacent traditional recreation area with the building of tourist attractions in Lesopark, Kubrat, Kubrat Municipality

The investment policy of the Municipality of Kubrat has been endorsed by the Municipal Development Plan of Kubrat Municipality for the period 2014-2020. In this respect, the creation of new and the reconstruction of existing recreation and sports areas is among the priority activities of the local government. With the implementation of the project will be satisfied the needs of the local population from a recreation area, creating places for recreation with tourist attractions, sports and educational-cognitive spots, providing accessibility of environment for people with health problems. Target groups targeted by the project are children, young people, adults and people with health problems. The main objective of this project is to reconstruct a recreation area along a traditionally existing Ecopath, creating recreation areas with tourist attractions, sports and educational-cognitive spots, providing accessibility for the environment for people with health problems. The expected result after the implementation of the project is to improve the access of the population and the guests of the Municipality of Kubrat to sports and leisure-related leisure facilities. Main activities to be carried out during project implementation: - Reconstruction of a part of the pedestrian promenade with execution of repairs for laying new asphalt pavement; -creating a larger, central relaxation area around the existing fountain by building a small shelter and fitting the furniture with appropriate forest park furniture - gazebos, barbecues, outdoor hearths, benches with tables, children's and sports area; -creating the ground in the newly created recreation, sports and communications areas to ensure unobstructed access for mothers with wheelchairs and for wheelchair users; -creating a small "streetwifes" site with a combined metal facility; -the development of a recreation and motorized seat for people with mobility difficulties and wheelchairs.
