"Modernization of an agricultural farm in Valchi Dol municipality - purchase of tractor and attachment"

The investment proposal provides for the modernization of the farm of Agricultural Cooperation "Edinstvo" by buying agricultural machinery - a tractor with an average output of 110 hp. and attachment inventory (seeding machine and trailer) through which agro-technical activities will be carried out for the production of quality produce. Local suppliers are also planning to be used when purchasing the equipment. AC " Edinstvo" manages a total of 959,3673 hectares of agricultural land, where at the moment grows common wheat and barley, and plans to plant also corn for grain and sunflower during the current economic year. Part of the land is maintained as fallow land. The properties of the candidate are located in the Cherventsi village, Karamanite village and Kaloyan village, Valchi dol municipality, Varna district. The goal of AC "Edinstvo" is to improve its competitiveness as a local farmer, performing profitable farming activities in accordance with good agricultural practices and environmental protection. The project proposal also provides for the creation of two new permanent jobs on the applicant's holding for representatives of local vulnerable groups (unemployed and / or elderly people). The implementation of the project will respect the principles of horizontal EU policies on gender equality, equal opportunity and prevention of discrimination, sustainable development, employment promotion and competitiveness.
