"Modernization of the farm of farmer Todor Radev"

The project proposal is related to the modernization of the farm of Todor Radev Radev, by purchasing a tractor KUBOTA, in line with the crops it will serve. The areas covered by the project proposal are located in the municipality of Valchi Dol, the village of Stefan Karadja and the village of Izvornik on a total area of ​​39.3 da, with perennial plantations of hazelnuts and walnuts.Through the planned investment, the farm will increase its competitiveness by reducing the means of maintaining the available capacities, reducing the processing time and reducing the cost of processing. Through the envisaged investment, the applicant will carry out activities to limit soil degradation and increase soil fertility by following and applying the legal framework at European and national level for conservation and restoration of soil fertility through its commitment under Measure 10 of the Direction of Soil Erosion Control .The applicant is a registered organic producer for the areas of perennial hazelnuts and walnuts. Through the envisaged investment, the applicant will apply the best agricultural practices by observing and implementing the legal framework at European and national level for protection of the environment, soils, animals and agricultural land use. Through the implementation of the project, the competitiveness of the local economies will be improved and opportunities for creating a local business, the development of territorial identity will be enhanced through the development of area-specific potential and products.
