Construction of public zones in a town park, “Marinopoltsi” area, land plot identification №55052.239.35 in Pavlikeni.

The project envisages renovation, construction of relax zones and rehabilitation of a staircase in existing public park “Marinopoltsi”-Pavlikeni. The investment project includes about 2400 m2 from the plot, and the main objective is to set up a new relax zone in its central area. It will be functionally divided in two parts - inactive east one for relax and walk purposes and active west one for playground. One will reach from the relax zone to the playground through two main curved alleys. The existing ditch on the east side will be cleared of the bushes and filled to level-1,50 m; a little island will be constructed in its centre, flagstones will be placed on cement joint basis and a summer-house will be installed. The walls of the ditch will be grassed; its bottom will be filled up with ballast in to imitate a dry lake with depth up to 1,50 m. From north and south towards the island two little bridges with metal construction and wooden ornaments will be placed, and a wooden railing too. The playground in the west part will be divided in two age-defined nooks–a smaller southern one with 10 m diameter for children 0-3 years and a northern one with 14 m diameter for children 3-2 years. The children facilities will be installed on impact-absorbent synthetic colored covering. A little sandbox will be placed between the two playgrounds. 2-metre wide alleys will be constructed around the two circles with benches and dustbins installed. The second part of the project envisages rehabilitation of the existing stairs from south. It is not planned to remove the old trees in good condition. The necessity to implement the project arises from the fact that the park is in very bad technical condition and there is an existing direct threat for the visitors' health. The investments under Measure 7.5 “Investments for public use in recreation, tourism infrastructure” will lead to improvement of the tourism infrastructure and will create good conditions for tourism development.
