"IMPROVING THE SOCIAL SERVICES SYSTEM OF CHANCE ASSOCIATION"

Improving the quality of life and diversification of services for the local population is one of the priorities set out in the municipal development plan of the Razlog Municipality 2014-2020 and is a strategic goal of the Community-led local development strategy on the territory of the Razlog LAG. On the territory of the Municipality of Razlog, CHANCE is the only provider of social services for people with intellectual and physical disabilities. In 2013, the purchase of a specialized transport vehicle purchased a minibus equipped with a specialized wheelchair ramp, which improved the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities. For realization of the goals of CHANCE Association it is necessary to buy and install a stair lift from the first to the second floor in the building of the Day Center for people with intellectual disabilities and / or multiple disabilities. This will improve the quality of customer service. Those with physical problems will have access to the kinesitherapy room located on the second floor. Children with physical problems and in wheelchairs will also have access to the classroom on the second floor. For qualitative rehabilitation, it is necessary to purchase specialized equipment - a dry pool with balls and ladders, an ultraviolet panel and water towers with bubbles for a sensory room. For the safety of the building in case of disasters and accidents it is envisaged the purchase and installation of an automatic fire alarm system, which so far does not exist in the building. The target groups under this project are two - persons with intellectual and / or multiple disabilities and members of teams working in social services. The project will directly influence the quality of life of the families of persons with multiple disabilities, as the inclusion of their children in social services will allow their family members to work, which will also improve the quality of life of the local population.
