NATIONAL CHITALISHTE "Vasil Levski-1924"-past, traditions, messages, modernity "

The project proposal envisages the purchase of costumes for the dance groups at the chitalishte Vassil Levski - 1924 in the village of Varbyane, which ensure the holding and participation in various cultural events. Chitalishte, as a cultural institution, pays special attention to amateur artistic creativity, in order to preserve and convey the uniqueness of Bulgarian traditions, the richness of song creativity, the beauty of Bulgarian costumes and the rhythm of dance. This, in turn, will help to attract tourist flow and diversify the employment opportunities, respectively, and improve the quality of life in our small town. The Chitalishte is a place where the Bulgarian can not only acquire new knowledge about the world around him, but also draw on the spirit of his past and strengthen his national consciousness. The efforts of the community center are aimed at preserving the cultural and historical heritage of the inhabitants of the village of Varbyane. Through the organization and holding of various cultural events on the occasion of local and national holidays, both the folk singing traditions and the promotion of old local crafts, clothing and customs inherited from the ancestors will be promoted.  Continuity on the part of the younger generation will be encouraged, as well as its resilience to migration and emigration sentiment. As a result of the implemented project activities, the spiritual needs of the local communities will be met. The project activities encourage the joint participation of different social and civic groups and cultural institutions and ensure continuity between the generations with the active participation of young people Project activities include the participation of people with disabilities and / or minority groups.
