The project proposal provides for the repair of the roof of the St. Nicholas Temple. The roof is tricky (to the north, south and west) and a separate roof over the altar / pulpit. It is made of a wooden structure, three-nave, without gutters, with a wooden cover. The roof covering is Old Bulgarian tiles. On the ridge and the Maya for lids are used also Old Bulgarian tiles. The cover over the altar (oval shape) is also from Old Bulgarian tiles, glued. The constructive opinion found the unsatisfactory state of the roof structure and the roof covering, which confirms the decision of the Church Trustees to carry out urgent repairs to the building, in particular at this stage. The project proposal provides for the following activities to be carried out: - Removal of the existing roof cover - Old Bulgarian tiles; - Assessment of existing planking and replacement of individual planks and, where necessary, reinforcement of roof bearing elements by replacement and duplication; - Delivery and installation of an insulating double-membrane membrane on the board, the double grille and the wooden profiles of the fasteners; - Delivery and installation of roof ceramic roof tiles, ceramic shutters, ceramic roofing elements, roof ties, tees, opening covers; - Supply and installation of ventilation strip under the covers, ventilation strip at the grate and PVC combs under the tiles. The project foresees over the altar to perform only the search and repair of the existing roof due to the danger of more serious defects. The materials for the repair must comply with the applicable legislation and be accompanied by appropriate certificates.
