To preserve the traditions in Municipality of Chepelare

The Municipality of Chepelare needs implementation of projects aimed at the preservation and promotion of the intangible cultural heritage on the territory of the Municipality of Chepelare. The project is aimed at target groups, which include members of the Municipal Organization of the Union of the Disabled in Bulgaria, Chepelare, residents and guests of the city. Improving the conditions for preserving and promoting the intangible cultural heritage of the Rhodope region will increase the attractiveness of the cultural atmosphere in the Municipality of Chepelare and the living conditions of the settlement. The amateur group for authentic folklore "Together we can do more" at the Municipal Organization of the Union of the Disabled in Bulgaria, Chepelare participates in a number of events for preservation and promotion of the Bulgarian folklore and traditions as part of the Bulgarian cultural heritage. Their stage performances require the ensembles to be dressed in traditional folk costumes, which are an integral part of the folklore of the population, accompanying any folklore performance, and for this reason they are obligatory stage wear. The main objective of the project is the preservation of the intangible cultural heritage in the Municipality of Chepelare. The expected result is the provision of improved conditions for the development of the folklore activity of the "Together we can do more" Authentic folklore group. The project management activities are: Organization and management of the project and Production and delivery of traditional folk costumes.
