Project envisages reconstruction of an existing cable-stayed bridge over the Iskar River for the stadium in Svoge.The facility provides a pedestrian connection in the central parts of the city with the city stadium and the neighborhoods "Branchovitsa" and "Bobkovitsa".It was built 40 years ago and is currently in poor technical condition,dangerous for passers-by. The implementation of the planned investments will ensure a modern, sustainable,humans' and the environment safe, and infrastructure meeting modern requirements.Achieving the desired state will be possible through the implementation of the following planned activities:1)Reconstruction of a rope bridge incl. construction and installation work on the foundations, dismantling of an old facility, installation of a new steel structure, lighting of the bridge and its approaches and construction of facility approaches.2)Rendering construction supervision and author's supervision during construction and installation works related to the reconstruction of a cable-stayed bridge over the river.3)Organization and management of the project. The main result of the project will be reconstructed, secured and accessible for people with disabilities pedestrian bridge over the river Iskar, connecting the central parts of Svoge with the stadium and two residential neighborhoods. In general, the implementation of the project will lead to improving the aesthetic appearance of the urban landscape and providing an accessible environment and equal conditions for access to administrative, health, educational and social services and integration of disadvantaged people. Last but not least, the service life of the bridge will be extended and its maintenance costs will be reduced.The project will be implemented within 24 months. The implementation of the project activities, including the project management, will be assigned to external contractors selected under the Public Procurement Act.
