"CELEBRATION OF POTS - CULINARY ACADEMY TO DOBRUDJA"

"The Feast of Pots - the Culinary Academy of Dobrudja" is held for eleven consecutive years in the municipality of Krushari, and in its design and implementation is a unique for Northeastern Bulgaria festival of authentic local cuisine. The festival has a competitive nature and the culinary competition is attended by all community centers in the municipality, community centers from Dobrich and Varna, which compete in various categories for the best prepared and presented dishes according to old authentic recipes. The main goal of this project is to preserve disappearing in time unique for the region recipes for authentic dishes, and for the fulfillment of the set goal a special film will be shot and a colorful illustrated album with the best recipes collected from all editions of the holiday will be released. The script of the film will include archival footage from the first to the last edition of the Festival, interviews with participants, guests, moments from the folklore concerts. The album printed on the project will include a study on the specifics of Dobrudzha cuisine. The album will be richly illustrated with photos from all editions of the Feast of Pots, recipes for the awarded dishes, as well as other recipes for specific culinary products, accompanied by a photo of the dish, drink, bread. The project includes the cost of production and delivery of Dobrudzha folk shirts and Dobrudzha men's vests, needed for the needs of two of the community centers (villages Krushari and Alexandria) to complete the community center fund of national costumes, given the participation of their amateur groups in all editions of The holiday.
