“USE OF THE POTENTIAL ON THE TERRITORY OF THE NGO “LOCAL INITIATIVE GROUP (LIG) LOM” AND IDENTIFICATION OF LOCAL INITIATIVE FISHERMEN’S GROUP PARTNER FROM BULGARIA FOR JOINT ACTIVITIES FOR THE DEVEOPMENT OF SUSTAINABLE ALTERNATIVE TOURISM ASSOCIATED WITH THE FISHING OCCUPATION”

“USE OF THE POTENTIAL ON THE TERRITORY OF THE NGO “LIG LOM” AND IDENTIFICATION OF LOCAL INITIATIVE FISHERMEN’S GROUP PARTNER FROM BULGARIA FOR JOINT ACTIVITIES FOR THE DEVEOPMENT OF SUSTAINABLE ALTERNATIVE TOURISM ASSOCIATED WITH THE FISHING OCCUPATION” PROJECT is aimed at implementing communication and partnership between one LIG and one LIFG from Bulgaria with fishing being the traditional main livelihood. Part of the preparatory activities will be held on the territory of the LIG LOM NGO: Information meeting for involvement of the local community in the project; Study of local resources for sustainable alternative tourism on the territory of the LIG LOM, associated to the development and promotion of fishing livelihood. It is envisaged that two of the activities will be carried out on the territory of the potential partner–“LIFG NESSEBAR-MESEMBRIA”: Conducting a working meeting; Conference “Partnership between LIG and LIFG for the development of sustainable alternative tourism, associated with fishing”. Publicity and awareness activities are planned, which accompany the entire course of the project implementation. The overall set of planned interconnected activities of the preparatory project is aimed at developing a project for intra-territorial partnership for the development of sustainable alternative tourism, associated with the fishing livelihood, which is typical for both territories and meets the needs of local communities in Lom and Nessebar. The project proposal fully complies with the overall Strategic Objective “Achieving economic prosperity, improved living environment in settlements, enabling self-expression, personal and professional realization, using local natural and human resources” of the CLLD Strategy of the LIG LOM and of the 1st Priority “Sustainable Development of the Local Economy”, of the 3rd Priority “Development of Human Capital on the Territory of LIG LOM”, as well as of the Specific Objective 1.2. Diversification of the local economy.
