The project "ENPORT BETA - an integrated approach to the development of sustainable tourism in rural areas" is a project for joint actions for transnational cooperation, implemented in partnership with 8 local action groups from Bulgaria, Romania, Italy and France. The project aims to develop sustainable tourism as a key factor for effective use and exploitation of the common advantages and potentials and overcoming imbalances in the region. To achieve this goal, an integrated package of activities will be implemented, including: research of tourist resources and creation of a common database; conducting study tours to exchange good practices; creating a common logo through an online competition and website for all partners; creating FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM AND YOUTUBE pages; creation of a Plan for dissemination of the results; support for the development of entrepreneurship by organizing: training for entrepreneurs, training course on slow tourism and green economy, workshop on ecotourism and best practices for sustainable tourism; establishment of a Center for Sustainable and Creative Tourism in Kotel. Target groups: local communities from the territories of the partner LAGs; entrepreneurs from the tourism industry; artisans and producers of typical local products; cultural institutions and amateurs; tour operators; visitors and tourists; minorities, local informal community leaders. The result of the project will be improvement of the economic development of the territory, increase of the revenues in the municipalities, reduction of the seasonality of the tourist flow, increase of the jobs and improvement of the overall quality of life on the territory of LAG Kotel, Sungurlare and Varbitsa in particular.
