"RUREALITY: Improving rural areas by fostering the transnational strategy of sustainable incoming promoting territorial realities"

The RuReality project aims to find new solutions for the development of sustainable tourism, starting with the cooperation that covers the territories of 3 Local Action Groups, which together by promoting the use of local resources and by applying a comon approach to the needs of local stakeholders, will create a common Methodology for the use of opportunities and for the transfer of skills. The need for sustainable and competitive tourism, especially in rural areas, where part of agricultural production activities combined with natural and cultural heritage can be a stimulus for the development of the territory, requires increasing interaction and coordination at local level in terms of production, services, welfare of the local population, natural and cultural-historical resources. This process requires the identification of potential participants, then the promotion of joint and concrete actions both to improve the professional skills of companies and to transfer good practices to attract new resources for sustainable tourism in terms of both heritage protection and economic drivers for the development of the territory. In this sense, the project will create a model of engagement of all stakeholders in the Local Action Groups areas and will define a methodology to be applied to the territories for the segmentation of tourist offers and and for creation of an attractive center for the development of new initiatives in tourism - Training and Advisory Hub, as well as the establishment of an open festival space for creative tourism. The project proposal will provide an opportunity to improve the tourism sector by networking tourism services on the territories of participating partners. The project activities aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and competitiveness of businesses in rural areas by establishing transnational partnerships, strengthening the experience of local actors to offer integrated services.
