Future with LEADER: Development of alternative tourism on the territories of LAG "Kotel, Sungurlare and Varbitsa" and LAG "Dolni Chiflik and Byala", in particular geotourism and cycling tourism.

The project "Future with Leader: Development of alternative tourism on the territories of LAG" Kotel, Sungurlare and Varbitsa "and LAG" Dolni Chiflik and Byala ", in particular geotourism and cycling tourism" is a project for joint actions for internal cooperation, implemented in partnership two Bulgarian local groups. The project aims to increase the tourist attractiveness of the LAG "Kotel, Sungurlare and Varbitsa" and LAG "Dolni Chiflik and Byala" and their establishment as preferred tourist destinations by stimulating the development of innovative alternative forms of tourism, supporting the achievement of the objectives of BOM strategies. . To achieve this goal, an integrated package of activities will be implemented, including: Development of planning documents for the development of geotourism for the period 2021-2027; Creating conditions for the development of alternative tourism and in particular geotourism in the Center for Sustainable and Creative Tourism in the town of Kotel and full utilization of its tourist potential; Research and analysis of the possibilities for development of alternative tourism, in particular bicycle tourism; Development of bicycle routes on the territory of the LAG "Dolni Chiflik and Byala"; Organizing and conducting parallel festival events with tourist potential and promoting traditional material and spiritual culture - "Festival of ethnicities, colors and Kotlen carpet" (on the territory of LAG "Kotel, Sungurlare and Varbitsa") and "Festival of Alternative Tourism" (on development of a joint platform for promotion of the routes, including the territories of the two LAGs. The result of the project will be improving the economic development of the territory, increasing revenues in municipalities, reducing the seasonality of tourist flow, increasing jobs and improving the overall quality of life in the LAG "Kotel, Sungurlare and Varbitsa" and LAG "Dolni Chiflik" and White ".
