The project aims to create conditions for the implementation of "short food supply chains" on the territory of the two partners Local Initiative Groups. The activities envisaged under the project will identify the main obstacles to the implementation of "short food supply chains", creating the conditions for them to be overcome. Removable equipment for organizing farmers' markets in different settlements on the territory of both partners will be purchased. Ways to shorten food supply chains and to consume mainly local food produced in the area close to the place of its users will be promoted among local farmers and consumers of farm products. The project will also implement several events, during which on the territory of each LAG will be promoted among residents and guests/tourists the opportunity that gives the approach of "short food supply chains", in order to reduce damage to the environment. environment and improving the well-being of farmers. The target groups are farmers and processors producing food on the territory and its end-users in the region. The need that will be met through the implementation of the project is to ensure a direct link between the produced fresh and quality farm products and its users with a sustainable business model and minimal transport costs and environmental damage. The expected results are the following: explored opportunities for the implementation of "short food supply chains" on the territory of the two LAGs, trained farmers to create them, a promotional campaign to promote the approach, which will include several festivals purchased movable inventory for farmers' markets in various settlements on the territory, as well as the creation of an online platform and a mobile application for creating connections between producers and end-users.
