Extend the scope of activity of Omega Pro Ltd.

The present investment project is related to the inclusion of a new service in the product portfolio of Omega Pro Ltd. The investment consists of buying a machine for cutting sheet material with a fiber optic laser source (laser cutting machine for metals). In order to ensure the highest precision of work and to guarantee the quality of the manufactured products, the manager of Omega Pro Ltd. has determined the basic technical parameters which the machine intended for purchase should meet: 1) 2000W laser power; 2) work surface for a sheet of 3000mm x 1500mm format; 3) the presence of a safety cabin, the same as the minimum requirements for tenderers in the tender requests. Description of the process and the machine: The portal laser cutting machine includes a machine body, a moving beam with a laser cutting head and other essential components, mechanical automatic movement is achieved through a control system. For the X, Y axes, Rack & Pinion are used, while the Z axis uses a screw pair to drive. The beam of the machine moves along the X-axis and has a stroke of 3m. With a stroke of 1.5 m and driven by a servo motor, the beam moves at a high speed from the beam 3 m long to have a 3 m x 1.5 m single treatment area.
