Preservation of the cultural intangible heritage by recreating spring holidays and customs

Kindergarten "Zdravets" is an educational institution established in 1977 in Chirpan, with a subject of activity - training and raising children from 2 to 7 years of age. The aim of the project is to preserve the local identity and culture by restoring, preserving and developing the local cultural heritage and traditions, followed by recreating spring holidays and customs by the children in the kindergarten. The aim is to involve the younger generation in activities to learn about local traditions and preserve the intangible cultural heritage of the region. The main activities are: 1. Making and printing a brochure for Bulgarian spring holidays and customs 2. Recreation of spring holidays and customs - St. Lazarus' Day, Easter, St. George's Day For this purpose the following will be purchased: 1. Equipment-Sound control panel-1 pc., Loudspeaker-2 pcs., Vocal wireless microphone-2 pcs., Microphone stands-2 pcs., Speaker stands-2 pcs., Audio cable-1 pc., Speaker cable-1 pc., Laptop-1 pc 2. Folk costumes, shoes and accessories(sets)-children's-for girls-20 pcs., Children's-for boys-20 pcs., Women's-2 pcs. 3. Garden furniture-artificial grass-100 m2, folding tents-4 pcs., Metal panels-4 pcs., Folding chair-30 pcs. 4. Production and printing of a brochure-100 pcs. The project activities will include the educational and support staff of the garden (23 people), 139 children and their parents. In the yard of the kindergarten, with the help of the equipment and furniture purchased under the project, the Bulgarian spring holidays and customs related to St. Lazarus' Day, Easter and St. George's Day will be recreated. As a result of the project activities, the local traditions related to the celebration of the spring holidays will be preserved and developed and the local identity and culture will be preserved. The results of the project will benefit all children in kindergarten (139 at the moment) aged 1.5 to 7 years, their families and the public of the Chirpan.
