Acquisition of a movable, prefabricated stage for organizing traditional local holidays and festivals in the municipality of Godech, for maintaining, presenting and preserving the cultural and spiritual heritage.

The project proposal envisages the purchase of a movable, prefabricated stage for organizing traditional local holidays and festivals in the municipality of Godech, for maintaining, presenting and preserving the cultural and spiritual heritage. The Municipality of Godech is an eligible beneficiary under Measure 19.2-7.5 "Support for public use in recreation infrastructure, tourist information and small-scale tourist infrastructure" and by purchasing a mobile stage will be given a wide field of expression for amateurs from the Municipality Godech, for to present the original Godech tradition. The following activities are planned- purchase of a professional prefabricated stage, with all the necessary accessories for its construction; lighting system, with control panel.Under the project, one person will be appointed under a subsidized employment program. Preserving the spiritual and cultural life of the population is important for rural development. The cultural and historical development of Bulgaria determines a rich cultural heritage, which is preserved in cultural centers, community centers, libraries, churches, monasteries and more. The investment in this type of infrastructure will allow to preserve the cultural identity and traditions of the municipality of Godech. In addition, the project aims to effectively increase the importance of local cultural landmarks and traditions and turn them into tourist attractions. The delivery of stage and equipment in the municipality of Godech will contribute to the encouragement and support in the organization of entertainment events and will help to diversify the cultural calendar of the municipality. The project activities correspond to the Municipal Tourism Development Program. Godech Municipality is a co-founder of the Organization for Management of the Sofia Tourist Region, with the center in Sofia. The renewed Tourist Map of Bulgaria unites in "Sofia Tourist Region" 23 municipalities, among which is the Godech.
