Modernisation of the processing facility of "Pirin Mes-1" LtD.

Increasing competition in the market for food and business development requires every manufacturing plant, either from the processing industry or primary production, to invest in new tangible assets to renew its existing base or expand its production capacity. With this project, the applicant Pirin Mess 1 OOD applies under the sub-measure 4.2 "Investment in processing / marketing of agricultural products" under the Rural Development Program 2014-2020. The project proposal includes the modernization of the machinery and equipment, by purchasing a new automatic packing machine, two new specialized refrigerated vehicles. With the realization of the investment under this project, the applicant will be able to achieve a gradual increase of production up to its maximum capacity through a technological project, thanks to the commissioning of a better, more efficient and economical packaging machine, while ensuring the export of finished products, through the planned refrigeration vehicles. The implementation of this project is in line with the objectives of the RDP 2014-2020, contributing to their successful implementation at national level, namely: Improving the overall activity, economic efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises in the processing industry through: 1. better use of production factors; 2. introduction of new products, processes and technologies, including short supply chains; 3. improving the quality and safety of food and its traceability; 4. achieving compliance with European Union (EU) standards; 5. improving the protection of the environment. The implementation of the project will have an impact on the development of livestock sector at regional level through the possibility of sustainable development and improvement of the market positions of a small processing plant in Razlog.
