Implementation of new technology for acetification and improvement of energy efficiency in the production of organic apple vinegar of Veda Ltd.

The candidate for the project is "Veda" Ltd. The company has many years of experience in the production of vinegar, being established with this subject of activity already in 1994. "Veda" Ltd. has no other revenue than the production and sale of food vinegar. The company's factory is located in Dolni Dabnik. The company is wholly specialized in the production and bottling of vinegar under modern technology for deep processing. The main aim of the project is to improve the company's performance and to ensure energy-efficient production of organic apple vinegar in the activity of "Veda" Ltd. The project envisages the construction of a new building for the certification and purchase of the necessary production facilities. The acetification process is one of the key levels in the production of organic apple vinegar. For this reason, it is necessary to introduce a new energy-efficient production technology. This will improve performance indicators in the activity of "VEDA" Ltd. and will achieve a balance between the quality and price of the organic product. This will increase the competitiveness of the company and will increase the market share. At the present, "VEDA" Ltd. has no real competition on the Bulgarian market for the conventional production of food vinegar. The market share of the company is over 80%, only on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. Separately, each year there is an increase in sales abroad. Major clients are Cyprus, Lithuania, Great Britain, Russia, Romania, Germany and others. With the implementation of the project, the main objective is to increase the market share in the production of organic apple vinegar. Implementation of the project, which will be the second in sub-measure 4.2. will provide a complete production cycle for the organic product.
