The investment project under sub-measure 4.2 "Investment in processing / marketing of agricultural products" is the reconstruction, reorganization and extension of a meat processing enterprise in the town of Borovo, Borovo municipality, region Ruse. The main objective of the project is to reconstruct, reorganize and expand the existing red and white meat processing unit, consisting of a cutting and meat processing unit. In addition to the planned reconstruction of the existing premises, new outbuildings are envisaged, both for the household and for the production parts, in order to expand and modernize the production base. After completing the investment, the company will meet all current technological, veterinary, sanitary and hygienic and construction norms in Bulgaria and will maximally approach the European requirements in this field. Enlargement of the enterprise will allow for simultaneous work with white and red meats, which was previously impossible due to limited space and technological constraints. In the new part of the production hall there will be a dryer that will help to increase the share of raw-dried sausages and delicacies in the enterprise's production range. The planned modernization will lead to an increase in the capacity to produce quality durable cooked and boiled-smoked meat products and raw-dried delicacies, a reduction in the cost of production and an improvement in the safety and hygienic conditions of production and labor.
