"Reconstruction of an existing building and extension to it for a industrial unit for storage and processing of bio essential-oil crops"

The envisaged investments and activities in the Project proposal, under sub-measure 4.2. "Investments in processing / marketing of agricultural products" are focused on the processing of bio essential - oil crops and the introduction of new products for the company (bio-dried lavender, bio-dried mint, bio-dried rose and bio dried lemon balm). The implementation of the Project aims at improving the overall activity, economic efficiency and competitiveness of the Candidate. The project proposal activities will contribute to the following objectives: • Implementation of new production capacities; • Implementation of new products, processes and technologies; • Improving cooperation with raw material producers; • Improving environmental protection; • Improving the energy efficiency of an enterprise through an energy audit; • Creating safe and hygienic conditions of production and labor. • Improving the quality and safety of food and its traceability; • Organic food production through the processing of primary agricultural biological products To achieve the objectives, the following types of investments and activities will be carried out: 1. Construction works on reconstruction of an existing building and extension to it for the industrial unit for processing of bio-essential oil crops; 2. Vertical planning works; 3. Purchase of new, modern, energy-efficient machines, technological equipment and facilities for the needs of production; 4. Expenses on consultancy and project services The implemented project will increase the competitiveness of the company and of the producers of organic agricultural products and will lead to improvement of their market positions. Achieving beneficial cooperation and integration between farmers, raw material producers and the Candidate, extremely important to current production conditions, will reduce the raw material vulnerability of processors and reduce raw material dependence in sensitive food sectors.
