Modernization and extension of a nut and fruit processing plant

This investment project is applying for funding under the RDP 2014-2020, sub-measure 4.2 "Investment in processing / marketing of agricultural products" for the modernization and expansion of a fruit and nut processing plant by purchasing new equipment. The project envisages the following activities - purchase of: • Washing machine for apples and plums - 1 pc. • Pruning machine - 1 pc • machine for removing the core of apples and cutting - 1 pc. • machine for cutting of dried fruits - 1 pc. • Fruit dryer - 1 pc. • Line for forming, cutting and packing bars of dried fruits and nuts - 1 pc. • Plant for dessert and flavoring of nuts - 1 pc. • multifunctional mixer - 1 pc. • Vertical packing machine for nuts and dried fruits - 1 pc. • Stretch machine - packing europallets - 1 pc. • dry steam cleaner - 1 pc. • electric forklift - 1 pc. • Frames for stacking of raw materials - 1000 pcs. The cost of the investment costs is BGN 801 675.77 excluding VAT. The main objective of the project is to improve the overall activity, economic efficiency and competitiveness of Orgeni Food EOOD. After the implementation of the project, the plant will increase its production capacity by a total of 310.5 tons on an annual basis. The increased capacity is at the expense of newly created products for the enterprise: dried apples and prunes, pitted and pitted, dried fruit bars, roasted peanuts, flavored white sunflower. The effect of the selected mode of production and the desired investments will also have on the energy efficiency of the plant - 15.41% savings will be achieved.  To operate newly purchased machinery and equipment, it is necessary to appoint an additional 9 people: 8 machine operators and one technologist. Working conditions in the enterprise meet and meet all safety and hygiene requirements.
