Increasing the biosecurity measures in the livestock farm of "Production and consumer service cooperative Izgrev-93, village of Tsarevets, by building and equipping a milking parlor

PPOK Izgrev 93 - production and consumer service cooperative, located in the village of Tsarevets, Svishtov Municipality. The main activity of the cooperative is the breeding of cattle, dairy cows and calves. PPOK Izgrev 93 employs breeders with extensive practical experience who strictly monitor the diet of the kept animals. The cooperative has established itself on the market for dairy and meat products, thanks to the quality products it offers. The cooperative is also engaged in plant growing, as a priority in its development is grain production and mainly the production of bread grain. Production and consumer service cooperative Izgrev 93 has an oven for bread production and a grocery store. The cooperative has attached equipment and agricultural machinery necessary for the cultivation of the land, the sale and harvesting of the finished agricultural products. To achieve the goal, namely to increase the competitiveness of the agricultural producer on the market, PPOK Izgrev 93 intends to apply with this project for construction and equipment of a modern milking parlor under sub-measure 4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings" of measure 4 "Investments in tangible assets" of the RDP 2014-2020, aimed at increasing the competitiveness of agriculture in the Republic of Bulgaria. By building and equipping a modern milking parlor aims to improve the activity and biosecurity of agriculture, increase competitiveness by modernizing production conditions contributing to the production of high quality products at low cost, application of environmentally friendly agricultural machinery that protects the components of agro-ecosystems and the anthropogenic impact on them. The purchase of the agricultural machinery envisaged under the project is a prerequisite for improving the resource efficiency in the agricultural holding.
