Purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment for a sheep farm

The current investment project under measure 4.1 Investments in agricultural holdings of the "Rural Development Program 2014-2020" is aimed at purchasing agricultural machinery and specialized equipment for breeding 350 sheep in an existing livestock farm. The aim of this project is to create mechanization and expand the farm by putting into operation modern and highly productive agricultural machinery and equipment to renew and improve the technological park of the farm and to provide the necessary technological capacity for quality animal nutrition in object. At present the farm does not have agricultural machinery. The two options for feeding the animals are by buying fodder crops or by renting agricultural machinery. In addition, it can be said that it is difficult to find suitable agricultural machinery in the short time in which specific treatments should be carried out - mowing, baling, etc. Failure to perform any of the necessary treatments can lead to an extreme reduction in the expected result, which must be avoided at all costs. The described technique envisages the inclusion of agricultural machinery in the farm for the optimal implementation of agro-technical measures for breeding and harvesting of finished products - fodder for the livestock farm. The investment in the new equipment, subject of the present project under Measure 4.1. of the RDP, will allow the necessary activities to be carried out in optimal time, which is a major factor in achieving higher quality and quantity of production, and from there are expected better financial results from the activities of the farm. In the farm itself, in order to optimally and correctly store the finished products during the lactation period of the animals, the purchase of a multi-phase cooled bath for milk storage is also envisaged.
