Modernization of the farm of ZP Kolyo Georgiev Kolev through investment in equipment with agricultural machinery and equipment

Within the common European market and given the full membership of Bulgaria in the European Union for ZP Kolyo Georgiev Kolev it is essential to achieve a high quality agricultural product at low production costs allowing to achieve high market competitiveness. ZP Kolyo Georgiev Kolev is an agricultural producer who raises cattle - a local area in the municipality of Radnevo, Kolarovo. The main activity of the farmer is the breeding of cattle. At the moment the farm has 120 cattle and buffaloes, of which calves and calves up to 1 year - 22; calves and pups over 1 year and under 2 years. for fattening - 31 pieces; beef cows - 64; To feed the livestock farm, the farmer grows 468.89 decares of common wheat, 96.417 decares of barley, 196.493 decares of alfalfa, the farm also has 16.648 decares of natural meadows and 873.179 decares of pastures and meadows. To achieve the goal, namely to increase the competitiveness of the agricultural producer on the livestock market, ZP Kolyo Georgiev Kolev intends to apply with this project for the purchase of new modern agricultural equipment under sub-measure 4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings" of measure 4 "Investments in tangible assets "of the Rural Development Program for the period 2014-2020. By purchasing new modern agricultural equipment aims to improve the activity of agriculture, increase competitiveness by modernizing production conditions, contributing to the production of high quality products at low cost , application of environmentally friendly agricultural machinery, protecting the components of agroecosystems and reducing the effect of anthropogenic impact on them. The purchase of the agricultural machinery envisaged under the project is a prerequisite for improving the resource efficiency in agriculture.
