Modernization of the livestock farm of ZP Toncho Tonev

ZP Toncho Georgiev Tonev has been a registered agricultural producer since 2001 with main activity dairy farming - production of raw cow's milk. A total of 50 cattle are currently reared on the applicant's farm, of which 32 are dairy cows and 16 calves and calves up to 1 year old. The cow farm, owned by the applicant, is located on the land of the village of Levka, Svilengrad municipality, district Haskovo, which falls on the territory of disadvantaged areas in the country. The farmer also grows cereals (wheat, sunflower and alfalfa), which are entirely used to feed the animals on the farm, as well as pastures and meadows. The other activity of the candidate is related to the cultivation of vineyards and melons. The present project envisages modernization of the applicant's livestock farm by purchasing a tractor, necessary for servicing the activity of the livestock farm, incl. cleaning, feeding of animals, digging, loading and unloading of food and other activities necessary for the activity of raising cows for milk production. The investment will be made in one main stage: I. Modernization of a livestock farm for dairy cows, by purchasing agricultural machinery for the needs of the livestock site, which includes: New Holland tractor, model T6.180 T4B - 1 pc. The equipment will be used only for activities in the livestock farm, which will ensure biosecurity, improve working conditions, improve hygiene, veterinary, phytosanitary and environmental production conditions, and improve the quality of agricultural products.
