In order to prevent the spread and spread of animal diseases, it is very important to strictly follow biosecurity measures. Biosecurity is key to protecting any industrial farm. In this regard, a project proposal has been prepared for the purchase of tangible assets and repair of the roof of the barn, which are in the context of implementing measures to introduce biosecurity and modernization of livestock farms for breeding beef cows and fattening calves up to 1 year and up to 2 years. The applicant has a registered livestock farm, according to Certificate №160 dated 30.08.2010 with a capacity of: 990 pcs .: 150 cows. and 840 pcs. calves, located in the village of Dalbok dol, district Lovech. The current project proposal is developed on the basis of 200 pcs. calves up to 1 year, with an average sales weight of 300 kg. and 200 pcs. calves up to 2 years, with an average sales weight of 600 kg. The assets to be purchased are in accordance with the planned number of animals for breeding and mainly concern the processes of providing quality feed for animals, ensuring a suitable microclimate in the barn, quality cleaning and maintaining optimal hygiene in the barn, according to current legislation for biosecurity in industrial livestock farms. The project proposal also envisages repairs to the roof of the stables, which will ensure maximum microclimate throughout the year, as the region of the foothills, where the livestock site is located and is unfavorable for most of the year, especially in the winter months.
