Purchase of agricultural machinery for a rabbit farm

The current investment project under measure 4.1 Investments in agricultural holdings of the RDP is aimed at purchasing agricultural machinery in order to provide feed in connection with the breeding of 60 rabbits and their offspring in an existing livestock farm № 37810041 in District: Vidin Municipality: Vidin s. Placuder, GPS x 42.0300,42 y 22.4450,16. At present, the farm has almost no quality agricultural machinery, except for physically and morally obsolete assets, which are to be scrapped. The current project is part of the strategy for expansion of the farm and the aim is to provide it with sufficient adequate technical equipment. With the implementation of the investment it is envisaged to include agricultural mechanization in the farm for the optimal implementation of the agro-technical measures for cultivation and harvesting of the finished products - fodder for the livestock farm. By putting into operation modern equipment, subject of the investment, the quality of the produced fodder will be improved. Mechanization in itself is a guarantee for sustainable development of the farm and protection of the biosecurity of the livestock farm, as better nutrition will reduce the risk of development and spread of animal diseases. In addition, the own cultivation of the feed with the equipment subject to the investment can guarantee the origin of the feed and reduce the risk of external factors causing contamination. The project proposal includes an application form, business plan, technical, financial-accounting and declarative information and other applicable documents, according to the requirements of Procedure № BG06RDNP001-4.008 under Measure 4.1. of the RDP.
